One of the highlights of my ministry has been the visit of Bros. Paul Vanaman and his son Tim in 1989. Though it was the month of November the weather was excellent. We made some very nice trips, visited Biblical sites, like the ruins of ancient Corinth etc. But, none of us will forget Bro. Vanaman's powerful and blessed preaching in church. What a sermon! What a blessing! Bro. Vanaman has been in glory now for some years. No doubt the family misses him very much. Dixie Baptist Church misses him, too. We all miss him. At the time I was shocked at the news! Bro. Vanaman was so dear to me! How loving, how pleasant, who wouldn't be blessed in his fellowship and presence! We shared the pain of the loved ones and upheld them before the God of all comfort then, and are looking forward to the great and glorious reunion. (In the picture Bros.
