After Baptism at Vravrona

Date 18/6/1990

Seven  believers, having accepted and professed Christ as their personal Savior, were baptized one beautiful summer afternoon at historical Vravrona. The picture shows the group from the church that came for the sacred ceremony. We are seated at tables enjoying food, soft drinks, coffee etc. All faces radiant, especially of those who were baptized, shaking hands and hugging wishing "God bless you" to the newly-baptized and greeting one another with a hearty "Praise the Lord". It was a wonderful occasion and an "Agape" (Feast of love) like the ones the early Christians very often had. None wanted to go, but we had to, when the day was far spent. We prayed, with tears of joy and gratitude, as we were parting, wishing and asking the Lord to give us many more such events; something that the Lord really did. To Him be all the glory.

They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
