I was a Christian by name, as are hundreds of millions of people. But God, in His love and concern for my soul, sent some real Christians my way who spoke to me about the need of my soul to be saved. They witnessed to me about Christ the Savior and showed me that by trusting Him I could be saved and become a child of God. I thank God especially for Bro. Mike Ford, who from Acts 16:30,31 showed me plainly that, as the Jailor at Philippi, I, too, could believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. This gave me assurance of salvation. In the year 2004 I became very ill, to the point of death. However, God saw fit to restore me to health and life, and now I worship and serve Him with joy and gratitude, and am thankful to my Lord for saving such an unworthy sinner like me! To know I am a child of God is something that fills my heart with joy unspeakable and full of glory! I also have been scripturally baptized, obeying Christ's command and worship Him with believers of like faith. Yes, I know, my sins are all washed away by the blood of Christ, I am on my way to heaven, praise His holy name. Amen. (By Ikashi Obediah)
